Luke Rogers,
Jason Dodunski, and
Danny White swept the podiums at the 6th FAI World Wingsuit Flying Championships 2024. Jason Dodunski’s stunning performance after an injury just 11 weeks before the worlds is truly inspiring.
After his accident, Dodunski recounted, “11 weeks ago, I smashed myself into a tree while riding mountain bikes, breaking my collarbone and shoulder blade. The specialist told me to cancel my worlds campaign.” Despite this setback, he committed to an intense rehabilitation program, dedicating four hours a day to recovery and refraining from jumping for eight weeks. With the help of an amazing physiotherapist and a fantastic support network, he managed to stay in the right headspace.
At the championships, Dodunski achieved his best performance at a world-level event to date, securing 2nd place in Speed, 2nd in Distance, and 2nd in Time, resulting in an overall 2nd place finish, just one point behind the top spot. To top it off, his team brought home the gold in the team event!
'None of this would have been possible without the incredible support from Aerodyne, and I’m proud to represent such an outstanding brand on the world stage. I look forward to continuing our partnership and pushing the limits together.''
