Friends Meet 2024 - Skydive Teuge
From July 9 through July 12, the annual Friends Meet was hosted at Skydive Teuge (NL). The Friends Meet is an international FS 16-way competition whereby teams exit from 2 planes (2 Cessna Supervans). During the Shredfest Vol 3.0 at Cleveland Skydive Center we decided to try this formation.
Brad Geary and I built a two stack, Craig Lambton came in for the surfdock, I held him with one foot on his chest strap while he gave room to Jonathan Bizila to come in and dock on my other foot with his chest strap as well.
After that Melissa Petitto-Kenny and Andy Kenny came in for the handocks closing the formation.

South African 2024 National Formation Skydiving Championships.
This past weekend the South African skydiving community came together for the 2024 National Formation Skydiving Championships.
Co-hosted by Skydive Parys and Skydive the Ranch, and in collaboration with the Parachute Association of South Africa, the event was a great success.
Surprising win for China! Or not? As the 5th FAI World Cup of Indoor skydiving, 3rd European and 1st Asian championships comes to an end in Macao, China.
The Chinese female 4-way team has beaten their competition by a large margin, averaging an impressive 30.5 points. That would place them at 3rd in the mixed gender, Open World Cup, had they decided to enter that part of the competition.
WCSI 2024 in Macao has started
Today will host the opening ceremony for the 5th FAI World Cup of Indoor Skydiving. This will be the 3rd European and the 1st Asian Championships and it will take place in Macao, China. Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. It’s March 2024 when a herd of muskox grazes untroubled on the frozen fields on the edge of the great ice cap. Their breath visible in the crisp air. Then, suddenly, a humming noise evolves in the sky. The muskox make instinctively a defensive circle. The humming noise comes closer. It’s a shiny red helicopter from Air Greenland.
Thai National Teams fine tuning skills before UPCOMING World meet in Macao.
Thai national teams completed last week of training before the big challenge of participating in the Indoor Skydiving World Cup in Macao, China. They approach this final phase of preparation with enthusiasm and determination. The team is coached by our athlete Paolo Grisoni. He coached them in the air as well in tunnel. Paolo is a legend and inspiration in our sport with more than 23.500 jumps. A true ambassador of skydiving. The world cup will begin on the 16-th of April at GoAirborne in Macao.
FOO 16/32 - serious FS big ways in Brazil
During this last weekend the annual FOO 16/32 unfolded with great success. FOO 16/32 is an invitational event that follows on from FOO 16, the sequential FS camps. Athletes from 4 countries gathered in Brazil for a warm up day with two 16 way groups, joining them on the final two days with 32 way jumps, always with more than one point in each jump.
The South African National Skydiving Championships
The South African National Skydiving Championships in CP, AE, CA & WS was recently held at Skydive Pretoria in Wonderboom, South Africa. Local canopy pilots competed at this event to qualify for the 10th FAI World Championships to be held at this very location 18 – 24 September this year. Skydive Pretoria is widely known amongst canopy pilots for its smooth and thin air, providing the perfect setup for some new world records to be broken there later this year.
World skydiving day announced
Five of the most prominent skydiving associations have anounced World skydiving day.Skydiving | world record (worldskydivingday.com) . This year will be the first time in history that skydivers will have their own day. The first annual celebration is JULY 13th, 2024, and will repeat each year on the second Saturday in July. This is great opportunity that all the participants form industry to top athletes join their forces to make skydiving sport as big as possible and maybe revival the Olympic dreams for the sport. Those dreams were very much alive in 1988.

A week earlier our athletes Franck Eloffe and Michele Hart took part in a spectacular night Head down world record. Project Max Pyro 2.0 gathered the most skilled freefly ninjas to Arizona where they completed the new 42 way head down night world record.

Vojta ''Zohan'' Fikar is one of the members of the Cawabonga freefly team alongside Zemi Abereu. On this cover of the Italian 90percent magazine he is leading an angle jump at the Czech Made Boogie with a super trendy, custom printed Icon on his back. Zohan and Zemi are both Aerodyne Athletes and in the forefront of the European freefly and freestyle movement. Not only do they have excellent flying skills, as Zemi is also a Judge at some of the biggest competitions.
Adrien Gallot has qualified for the World championships!
Aerodyne athlete Adrien Gallot became the French indoor champion in 2 Way Dynamic (2WD) for the 4th time in a row. This year as part of Team Eaglets with Sofya Pauzin, whom he has been flying with since October 2023. The competition was held last weekend at
FULLFLY Bordeaux, France. Adrien and Sofya have been selected to represent France at the
Indoor World Cup in April 2024 in Macao, China. Adrien has also obtained a solid 2nd place in Solo Speed which is the new Dynamic discipline.

The European Skydiving Symposium is the biggest skydiving-oriented conference of this size in Europe. Experts in all fields, members of the skydiving community, instructors, and gear specialists from all over the world will be present.

The Wind Games 2024 has started!
Once again, athletes have gathered in Spain to kick off the competitive season with the renowned Wind Games. This competition is held at the Windoor tunnel at Empuriabrava, one of Europes most renowned DZ's. Hanna have masterfully flown Aerodyne parachutes in North Carolina at USPA Nationals 2023. The competition was held at Paraclete XP in Readford, NC. They competed for the Bad Advice Team together with Sean Plastine, when they won Bronze in Canopy Formation 2-way Sequentials.

At 19 years of age, Tom Mattoni will fight for GOLD in the next WPC
This Aerodyne team's goal is to win everything possible in the 4-way OPEN class.
The team started in the summer of 2022 with their most experienced teammate being Damien Gouriou, who has been in the French 4-way team since 2013.
Their youngest teammate is Tom Mattoni who is currently only 19 years old and has 600 jumps.
The aim is to compete until the World Meet in 2026.

Belgian Sequential Record 2023
The Belgian sequential records were organized in August this year.
They managed to achieve a 2, 3, and 4-point 28-way partial break large FS formation, which is now considered a superseded FAI category.
Additionally, they set a new Belgian record under FAI rules with a 2, 3, and 4-point 30-way total break large FS formation. The event was a great success.
